Notifications, background tasks, automatic synchronization or alarms do not work correctly for “Example App” on Android 3 (“Honeycomb”)?


  1. Open the “Settings” of your device.
  2. Choose “Battery”.
  3. Tap on “Background activity manager”.
  4. Next to “Background activity cleaner”, make sure that the switch is turned off, i.e. with its knob or handle at the left.
  5. Next to “Enable blacklist”, if the switch is turned off, i.e. with its knob or handle at the left, there’s nothing left for you to do. Otherwise, proceed with the next step.
  6. Find “Example App” in the list of apps.
  7. Next to “Example App”, make sure that the switch is turned off, i.e. with its knob or handle at the left.
  8. Leave by pressing ⌂ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.
  9. Open “Example App” on your device.
  10. Leave by pressing ⌂ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  6. Restart your device.
  7. Open “Example App” on your device.
  8. Leave by pressing ⌂ (“Home”) at the bottom of your device.

  2. If you have any app like “Clean Master”, “Security Master”, “Task Manager”, “Phone Cleaner”, “Super Cleaner”, “Power Clean”, “DU Cleaner”, “DU Speed Booster”, “CCleaner”, “AVG Cleaner”, “Avast Cleanup” or “Norton Clean”, check that it doesn’t block or terminate “Example App”.
  3. If unsure, consider uninstalling the app claiming to “clean” or “boost” your device.
